Lis Salvatierra - QUEEN BEE - is a nomadic, Venezuelan-born illustrator, tattooist, and tango dancer. Guided by movement, meaning, and the intimacy of mark-making—on skin, on paper, and in presence.

Her illustrations are visceral—sensual, often daring, always intimate and dreamlike offerings of the feminine in all her phases: untamed, aching, erotic, grieving. She is the artist behind Gris Líquido (Liquid Gray) by Brenda Marquez and Love Psalms to King David by Gwenm Carsley, where her lines hold both softness and defiance, the erotic and the sacred in the same stroke.

As a tattooist, Lis tattoos like a lover—intuitively, soulfully, with reverence for the skin. And when she dances tango, it’s not performance—it’s pulse. Her body listens. Her breath teaches. She guides others into the art of pause, presence, and the unspoken electricity that lives in every touch.
